Sky Dive

Amy Bennett is 19 years of age and works as a Administration Officer with Denbighshire County Council. She lives in Cefnmeiriadog near St Asaph.

She intends doing the sky dive on Saturday, the 26th of September, 2009 at Whitchurch. (weather permitting!!) otherwise the sky dive will be rescheduled.

Amy hopes to raise as much money as she can for Yogi's appeal fund.

Ellis Rugby Launch T Shirt for Appeal Fund

Rugby leisurewear brand Ellis Rugby has agreed to donate 100% of the sale profits of a Ray Gravell inspired T Shirt to the Bryan ‘Yogi’ Davies Appeal Fund.

The shirt features the famous quote attributed to the Wales and British Lions legend ‘Get your first tackle in early, even if it's late’ and is available in Bottle Green and Navy Blue.

London Marathon

Ian Roberts (PC 448) an officer of the North Wales Police has entered the London Marathon, which is being held on the 13 April 2008, he has kindly agreed to run in support this appeal.

We hope that friends, players and colleagues will support this appeal by sponsoring Ian on his marathon.

Please support the appeal by making a donation or printing out the sponsor form and sending it to Gareth Jones/Chris Redmayne. Or alternatively if you are a North Wales Police employee email address Payroll General specifying the amount you want to donate, this amount will then be taken directly from your pay. Reply by Monday the 4th of February and it will be deducted from February pay, replies after the 4th February will be drawn from March pay. Please include your payroll number when replying.

Sponsored walk around Llyn Tegid Bala - 10 miles

Took place on Saturday the 28th of July. Each walker contributed £5. The total raised was £2614.40, thanks to everybody who took part.

Bala Rugby Junior Club would like to thank the children and adults around 170 of them who walked the 7 miles sponsored walk around the alwen lake on Sunday 24th of June to raise money for the Bryan Davies Appeal Fund.

Thanks also go to all the people who helped in the preparation of the walk and helped out on the day, and also all the people who have sponsored the children towards the appeal.
Everybody on the day had a good and dry walk, and it was a pleasure to see everybody enjoying the experience and pleased that they put some time in for their friend Yogi.

The walk will have raised between £4000 to £5000 towards the appeal.

June 23rd - Rally starting from Rhug, with a bucket donation.
Nearly £200 was collected by volunteers on the night and Bala Motor Club doubled this money towards the appeal.
